Evening relaxation — calmer winding down before bed
The Delight Pro Agytréner is a portable relaxation device that uses two complementary techniques: audio-visual stimulation (AVE) and micro-current stimulation (CES), applied via electrodes clipped to the earlobes. The device’s purpose is to support relaxation — not to treat illness.
Five programs for evening calming:
- Schumann program – a slow, steady-rhythm program for deep relaxation and calming down before sleep.
- Meditation into sleep – 8 Hz rhythm in the first phase, 3 Hz in the second; a gradual slowdown.
- Alpha/Theta program – to help quiet the “racing” thoughts at the end of the day.
- SMR program – for those whose bodies are already relaxed, but whose minds are still working.
- Delta program – the slowest-rhythm program for complete relaxation.
The programs are intended for relaxation; which one feels most pleasant is individual to each user.
What is AVE (audio-visual stimulation)?
AVE is a passive relaxation technique: the light pulses from the glasses and the sound pulses from the headphones offer a steady rhythm that many people respond to with deep relaxation. During use, a common experience is a feeling of heavy, warm limbs, calmer and deeper breathing, and quieting of thoughts.
The effect of rhythmic light and sound stimulation on the brain’s electrical activity is a long-known and measurable phenomenon (photic driving / SSVEP): the stimulation frequency appears in the EEG. This is a measurable physiological response.
- AVE can be a technique that makes falling asleep easier by quieting the “chattering mind” after a hectic day.
- Using AVE during the day can quiet the mind, which can also contribute to better sleep.
What is CES (micro-current stimulation)?

The CES function delivers very low-intensity electrical impulses through electrodes clipped to the earlobes. The technique has been used since the mid-20th century; many users report a pleasant, relaxed state during use. The device’s CES application is also intended for relaxation purposes.
Using AVS and CES at the same time reinforces each other’s effects.
